Some people find their calling later in life.

 I was born into mine.

Raised in a family where both of my parents were chefs, the kitchen was never just a room—it was the heart of our home. From washing dishes during summer breaks to watching my mom and dad cook with passion and purpose, food was always more than a necessity. It was art. It was love. It was a legacy.

My professional journey began at a mom-and-pop Southern joint in Lakeland, Florida, where I started as a cook while attending college. That “temporary job” turned into a 20-year career. I worked my way up to managing the back of house, learning every aspect of the kitchen and honing the discipline that would shape my future.

But it wasn’t until I moved to Tampa that my culinary world truly expanded. I stepped into a sous chef role at a high-end cafeteria concept, and for the first time, I was exposed to classical French and European techniques. From mastering hollandaise to exploring foie gras, my curiosity ignited like never before. Thanks to a mentor who poured his knowledge into me, I discovered a deeper layer of creativity and craftsmanship—and I soaked it all in like a sponge.

Throughout my journey, I’ve been blessed to grow up in a home rooted in Asian tradition while also being surrounded by the vibrant Latin-Caribbean community. I was deeply immersed in their culture, lifestyle, and especially their cuisine. Over time, I began to master Latin-Caribbean cooking and noticed a beautiful overlap in the use of spices and flavor profiles with Asian cuisine.

This fusion of influence became a natural part of my culinary style. Blending the boldness of Latin-Caribbean flavors with the depth of Asian ingredients felt authentic to who I am—and ultimately, it inspired the name of my company: LatAsian Private Dining.

OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL YEARS,

I continued to lead in multiple kitchens, managing operations across three unique restaurant concepts. Yet even with all the success, I didn’t know the most fulfilling chapter of my journey was still ahead.

When the pandemic hit, the restaurant world came to a standstill. Like many chefs, I found myself reevaluating everything. That’s when I discovered the world of personal chef services—and it lit a fire in me I didn’t expect. I knew it was time for a new direction. A God-led direction.

So I returned home to Lawrenceville, Georgia, the place I grew up, and launched LatAsian Private Dining—a personal chef service blending my Asian heritage, Latin inspiration, and classical training into unforgettable fine-dining experiences in the comfort of your home.

Every dish I create is a reflection of my story: bold, vibrant, elevated—but grounded in heart. I cook not just to serve food, but to create moments, memories, and meaning. Whether you’re hosting a romantic dinner, gathering friends, or exploring new flavors through a cooking class, my goal is simple: to turn your table into something extraordinary.

If you’re ready for a culinary experience that feels both personal and unforgettable, I’d love to serve you.
